What types of documents can you read online?
World Development Reports; Global Economic Prospects; Global Development Finance; Policy Research Reports; World Bank Research Journals; Research Programs; Household Surveys; Abstracts of Current Studies; Evaluations of Research; Working Papers. To know what type of information reports include, select a type under 'Key Output': on top of each corresponding page, a definition is written (e.g. definition for Policy Research Reports, for Working papers, etc.).
Basics on how to use the Research website
Use the search engine available on the left-hand menu:
- Key Outputs: are the different types of reports published by the World Bank Research department, click on the 'Key Outputs' scrowling menu to select and access available resources.
- Programs: click on the 'Programs' menu and make your selection for research programs such as finance research, international trade, public services, etc.
- Use the same process for topics and country/region.
Authors
You can access all the works of authors of the Research department, listed in alphabetical order, and contact them. On the left-hand side of the Research home page, click on 'Staff Directory'. Alternatively, send an E-mail to: research@worldbank.org
